Company Profile Industry: Consumer technology Revenue: $750 million Business Situation This organization produces a wide-range of consumer technology products. Prior to launch, each product is given an exhaustive QA test to ensure "bug-free" performance. On average, the company tests anywhere from 20 to 40 products a week, with certain times of the year busier due to retail considerations. Because of the fluctuation in the number of tests taking place throughout the year, the company hires temporary QA testing professionals who must "hit the ground running," to meet their needs.
