The client had initially used a consultant from another staffing firm to help assist with the installation. However, that individual lacked sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, and thus did a poor job on the task. Additionally, they would have paid thousands of dollars to the earlier unskilled consultant from the other firm and their project would not have been completed successfully.
